Catching up with the Bennett's

So it's been a super long time since I posted. Life has had it's ups and downs but overall we are good. Judge is doing so much better and my baby girl, Lucy, will be 3 years old in two months! Time flies. The holidays just passed and the kids had a ball. Judge was a pirate for Halloween and Lucy was Princess Aurora. I may or may not have influenced that choice. (Sleeping Beauty is the best Disney movie evah!!)

Christmas was a so much fun. Both kids took so much more interest in it all this year so that made it the best we have had in a while.

My goal this year is to actually use this blog more....lol. I tend to post on Facebook a lot but I really would like to use the blog more.

So anyway...the kids are awesome, Dave and I are doing great and anything else doesn't really matter.

Life on the spectrum.....

So my goal with this blog is to document my life as a mom.  My life was turned upside down in January of 2010 when my son was diagnosed with Autism. We have settled in to our life of therapy and now we are getting ready to give the GFCG diet a go.  It's hard it is expensive and it is not a proven tested therapy but at this point I will give almost anything a try.  I just want him to take 2 steps forward and then another step forward instead of 2 steps forward and then 3 steps back.  *sighs* I don't know.....we will see if it helps.  It is damn expensive though and the whole family will have to be on it to make it easier.

My little munchkin man is sick.

He had his Hanen video taping session Thursday night. As soon as we were done he got really tired really fast. He felt warm and his temperature was almost 101.

Dodger Boy

I have to admit he looks great in Dodger Blue! Dave loves baseball so much it really bums me out that it so hard for us to take Judge with us to a game. He wants to share his love of the game with Judge so bad that I can taste it. lol. Seriously though I just want them to be able to play catch and have Dodger dog together for many many years to come. That is my Father's day wish for my husband, the bestest dad I know. :)
